Default Es 250

Hello,
I've been reading the forums for about a week or so. I joined Club Lexus to get club pricing on the DVD bypass module (will see). I love car forums, because I can find answers to my questions from people who've been there/done that. Answers are down to earth. Thank you all for posting your information.

I have a 2016 ES 350, Luxury package.

Thanks,
Richard

We traded our 2005 ES330 in for a 2013 ES 350 that had 4,000 miles on it. The 2013 has the lux. pkg. with leading edge plastic wrap, that I have
not seen on any others. It is good protection from paint chips. The car is gold with tan leather heated/cooled seats and chrome 17 in wheels. The
rest is std. for the lux. pkg with Nav. and blind side warning mirrors.

We love this car. The mileage is consistently 25 in town and 29 to 31 on the highway. The additional power over our 2005 makes this car exceptional
in handling on the highway. We now have 35,000 miles on it and have changed the tires and find it to be very comfortable, efficient, and convenient to
drive. Our only complaint has been with the Navigational system and getting it set like we want it. I'll post a question for help on that issue.
Great automobile.

Hey SBY68, what kind of tires did you put on it? Were you after a smoother ride?

Sounds like you got a really great car.

That's about the same mileage I get with this 2016 ES 350. Actually around 29.5 on highway, but I don't really drive it in the most efficient manner.

;-)

Yep, that's probably my average. Mostly city, with some highway mixed in (maybe about a third highway, not sure).

They told me to only put 87 octane in it, and gas is so low right now, it hardly matters.

Tires. The original tires wore unevenly, according to the Lexus dealer in our area because I had maintained too high of air pressure ,40 psi, and that caused them to wear unevenly. As a result they were noisy. The dealer was more than willing to replace then with original equip. For $1,200-$1,300. I felt that was a mite pricy so I shopped until I could tolerate the noise no longer and at 35,000 miles I replaced them with Goodyear Assurance SA FOR $680. Installed w road hazard, free rotate and balance and repair. That did include a $40 rebate from Goodyear. These tires are quiet and good on a wet highway, size 225-45/R17. That is on a chrome rim.

Recently purchased a 2013 ES350 Luxury Package, Deep Sea Blue Micah / Parchment (Ivory).
Navigation System Package
20" Niche custom wheels
Rain Sensor Intermittent Wiper w/ Windshield De-Icer
Blind Spot Monitor
Intuitive Parking Assist
Power rear sunshade
High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
Wood and leather-trimmed shift ****
Cargo Net & Carpet Trunk Mat
Additional warranty to 5 years / 100,000 miles, 3 years Complimentary Service
I've also added some stainless steel/chrome accents to both interior/exterior of car. It looks pretty sharp ... wheels really set it off! Turning lots of heads too!
