hail perhaps, vigorous use of the snow brush clearing ice off the roof like banging on the ice to break it, or even snow/ice falling from a building/garage overhang and denting roof. I have experience all 3 but flexing due to potholes???

Im in the pothole capital of the world and have not experienced that

Pics? There's almost 0 chance of a pothole causing a roof dent without causing other issues with the car. The roof itself is not a structural member - at least not in an up/down motion; there's enough flex there - otherwise all vehicles with sunroofs would experience this same issue.

You should have given the dealer a dent in the head for that explanation.

After 5 days of Park Place Lexus reviewing my car. They concluded that no hail hit it, we are in TX so no snow. Lexus Corp stated the dealers findings is that you either hit a curb or a pothole. The sunroof doesn't have an actual support beam, so when the accident occurred it left the dents in the front of the sunroof. DFW has pothole everywhere and shouldn't this be considered a defect. No support beam around the sunroof.

Also your Premium Dent Protection Plan won't cover it. You will need to file it with your insurance.

The bodyshop guy says it's very common on the IS models and yes, it was cause by the flex of the vehicle.
