Default Cheap steering rack, has anyone used this one?

This rack is really cheap, and has a lifetime warranty. Has anybody used it?
If not, what rack have you used, and had years of use out of? I plan on keeping this 2011 ES 350 for a lot of years. It only has 16,000 miles, and is in perfect condition in and out.

I know others have had problems with leaking racks at around 60,000 miles, but I was shocked to have the passenger side boot start leaking at 16,000.

This is what I'm seeing. Is it 100% need a new rack, or is there something else I need to check?

I can't believe that.

Is that boot replaceable? Looks so... I'd just replace it first in case it is cracked.

I'm in Korea now, and the Lexus mechanic here said I need a new rack. Over here it cost over $2,000. I don't know any more than what the picture that I took shows. I expected that the boot is probably holding a lot of fluid. But I don't really know anything more.

I was wondering if buying a rack like the one in the ebay link, and having it shipped over here would be a good fix. But was hoping that someone here had bought the same one, and had tens of thousands of miles on it with good results!
