Default Bass upgrade for 2011 es 350

Hey guys, I am trying to get a stronger / better bass for my Lexus. I am planning getting it installed and buy it at best buy. My question is, what size am i looking for and any recommendation ?

Currently everything is stock

Don't forget than changing the front midwoofers in the front doors also make a huge difference.

CodeDJ, i notice that you have 2 amplifiers, would it be for the sub only ?

JL XD600/1 did run the JL 10W3v3-2, which is now running this JL Audio HO112-W6v3;

JL XD400/4 runs 2 pair of JL C3/650's in front (convertible) & rear doors.

In greater detail here.

Can you change the door speakers? I thought you had to do a crazy rewire if you did that.

Absolutely not, it is as easy as unplug the speaker, remove it and install new speaker on, tap the oem wires with a short wire to tap into the new speaker input.

Any speakers will do as long as it is not touching the door mesh. I cut a mdf plate to receive my speaker, they are infinity kappa perfect 5.1. rated 90wrms

The boom will be much better than the oem. I did that for the front doors since no passenger in the back.

Everything is reversible, actually, i always transplant my audio from car to car since i like the sound quality of my unit.
