Default where to oil change?

I am due for an oil change on my 2011 es350 thats currently at 54.3k Miles. I only had this car for 2 days from dealership..but oil change was due last month.

I never owned a luxury car before, where should I go for oil change ? Lexus / Toyota dealer? or tto a https://www.groupon.com/deals/precis...-san-francisco

Do you think its worth paying extra for oil change over smaller mechanics? like Precision auto tune ?

How does the oil look on the dipstick? I wouldn't say that every dealer puts fresh oil in their cars before they sell them, but the used cars I've bought have always had fresh oil.

Definitely skip the quick lube places like Jiffy Lube. I've met too many people who have left places like that with no oil in their cars.

Best bet is to find a trusted mechanic that people recommend. If you want to go to a dealer, toyota is going to be a lot cheaper than lexus.

From experience, I would recommend Oil Changers. They are in Bay area, Fresno and San Diego. You drive into their garage and you remain in your car the entire time. They finish by checking your tire pressure and all your lights.

I do my own oil changes; however, I am not allowed to touch my work truck and take it to these dudes.

I take my CPO to Toyota. I ran the records on mine and it was a local car and maintained at the Toyota dealership, so they already have all of the records on it.

The only thing they can't do is warranty work.
Their cost is comparable to the local garages where I still take my old Ford.

Lexus dealer is two hours away and their service prices are double the same thing at Toyota.

To me, it's worth taking it somewhere I have online records easily accessed by Lexus (esp since I still have warranty), Toyota parts/experience, price is comparable to smaller places, they treat me well and so far, haven't tried to oversell me. They follow the maintenance guidelines.

I've had their sales guys trying to get my car so they could resell it.. No way! I love this baby!
