Front Speaker Installation
PLEASE HELP!! I just purchased JBL GTO938 Front Speakers and want to install them in my 2007 ES350 myself. Would extra wiring do I need to purchase? Also, do I have to take off the entire door, or is there a way to pop off the speaker guard? I am obviously brand new to this, but figured I would take the DIY approach. Any links to easy door removal?

Do not do this yourself. You're not experienced enough to get it right.
To install the aftermarket speaker, you'll need the appropriate adapter harness. To get the old one out and the new one in, you have to remove the entire door panel. This is NOT a job for a novice and it's trickier to get the panel back on than to get it off, and you may get yourself stuck in a bad spot trying to do so.

Welcome to the forum. The search feature is your friend. Here's my thread on the audio system upgrade I did on my '07. And I did not completely remove my door panels.

It was really tight to work on because I have meat clubs for hands (XL glove size and those are tight). As I wrote, the first one took longer than the 2nd.
If I ever did it again, I would drill a tiny hole through the side of the adapter and run the 2 speaker wires through a tiny hole on the side. You can see in https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6675551-post37.html where the factory plug is.
You may need a 6x9 adapter to give you enough clearance from the window.
