Extra Key remote required for my 2010 ES350
Hi
Can you suggest an online store to order an extra remote key for my 2010 ES350,
I've currently one key only and I'm afraid of losing it
I'll take care of the chip programming

www.ebaymotors.com. Then enter remote key fob for 2007 Lexus ES350, many should show up in the parts and accessories section.

The op is looking for a 2010 not a 2007
also i think better for the OP to open the remote up and look at the numbers on the inside of the remote not that back but the inside then type those in on the ebay search option and it will come up with what is on ebay

i think if the dealer tells you it won't be able to be reprogrammed to the car that just means there are not informed or not knowledgeable or just trying to get you to buy a new remote from them
I had a Dealer a month back i was told they can program a key if its been programmed to a car no problem
however depending on how many keys you have had they may need to do a Master reset of the key program
keep in mind one dealer says it can't be done just go and find another dealer see what they say
also get on your computer google locks smith lexus keys and other things find a lock smith just call around id be supprised if you didn't find anyone who can program a lexus key and even sell you one at less than the dealer

Aren't the numbers inside the same as back side of the remote ?
the outside one starts with HYQ
actually there are tow numbers on the back side of the remote : one is FCC number and the other is IC number !!!

just because the key's look alike doesn't mean they are the same all the time

that's about the going rate. You could try saving money by buying a remote elsewhere and hoping it can be programmed to your car properly, or see if a locksmith has the ability to program the key to the car as usually they'll charge less per hour of labor than the dealer will.
