Brake pedal too high?
Hi I am loving my ES350 but have not been able to adjust to something peculiar. Ihave had the car a month and tried a number of seating positions, it seems that the brake pedal sits much higher than the gas pedal. No matter what position I sit in it's VERY uncomfortable applying the brakes as I literally have to hyperextend my foot. I had my friend drive the car and he also noticed this. I have developed a pretty bad shin pain as a result. I dont have the same problem on my sc430 or the IS350. Any clues? Is the pedal adjustable at all>?

the brake pedal in any car is always going to be higher than the gas because it has more travel than the gas pedal. Even in cars with adjustable pedals, they both adjust at the same time. You can move both closer or further away, but you can't adjust the brake to be equal to the gas. It's a safety issue too; think about if the brake and gas pedals were dead even...lot easier for your foot to slip off or accidentally hit gas vs brake
