Brand new 2011 ES350 and I just have a question I was hoping someone could answer so I don't have to ask Lexus about it at the 5k oil change.

Is it normal for the Xenon headlights to make a low pitch whine/hum until they shut off? I've had several cars with Xenon lights before and they've never made a noise like this. I hear it once the car is shut off and light delay (30 seconds I think) occurs.

I have an '07 model and they have done it since day 1. No issues at all with the lights performance.

Yup. That's the ballasts.
