ventilated seats 2007 vrs 2010 any differences?
I took my 2007 in since the ventilated seats did not seem to work well. The dealer said everything was fine but to put the ac on dash/floor to get more cool air to the seat intakes that actually helped
but the 2010 loaner had cool air coming from the back of the seat between the shoulder blades and my 2007 does not
the dealer said the 2010 does indeed have another fan for the back of the seat but the 2007 only has one fan for the seat
is this true?
I looked in the manual for a diagram of the ventilated seats showing how the air flowed through the seats but no such luck
any comments appreciated

I am glad to hear that your dealer is at least telling you that the 2010 has an additional fan for the seat vents. I had a 2007 and now a 2010 and have felt that the 2010 does a better job of cooling but assumed it was unchanged and I was just imagining it. I even had a passenger notice the cooled seat last week on a 115 degree day.

I haven't noticed any difference between my '07 and now the '10. They seem about the same. I hadn't heard about another fan but will check it out today a little closer.

it worked lumbar changes improved ventilated seats
thanks for the advice adjusting the lumbar made a huge difference now I do get air in the back of the seats between the shoulder blades
I need to pass this onto the dealer so they may assist others if they have they same issue
the dealer stated they test the ventilation by putting a tissue on the seat not high tec but it does show the air flow however I think most people would agree the seats should have more air flow especially since it can always be turned down if needed
this forum is so useful, we actually get many tips that work
