Default 2007 ES350 - Boston price

Friend of mine is looking for an ES350 with Ultra-Luxury Package with Additional Options. The MSRP is $44312.00 with dest. charge. We contacted several local dealers. They quoted from $38K ($6.3K off MSRP) to $41.8K. Is $38K the lowest within Boston or New England regions? It's the end of the month now. Apparently dealers have it in stock with exact colors.

Sounds like a great price, 38K is less than what I paid for mine in August of 06. I agree, it is month end on Thursday. Go in and make your deal! If the car is in stock, they will let it go.

MD350 - How much did you pay if you don't mind? Many don't give quotes but the average price for this is in $40-$41K price range. Isn't it the UL Package has the huge sunroof?

Yes the UL has the tinted glass sunroof. The best deal I could find when I was looking for an ES was at Lexus of Watertown. The worst deal was at Herb Chambers Lexus of Norwood. I ended up with a 2006 ES 330 because the flare actually happened to me on my test drive so i chickened out! I have no regrets....and from my oil analysis, the engine is wearing in perfectly

kingofire - I bought my 2007 RX350 at Lexus of Watertown too! Yes! My sales experience there was average but the price was great...... Ira Lexus was second in term of pricing. Watertown won't give price quote via email or phone. They only talk about price at the showroom. So, you have to do lot of homeworks for the lowest price. Then tell them what you want to pay for.

Hmm.... that's interesting. my friend got the lowest quote of $38K ($44.3K MSRP) from Herb Chamber in Norwood. They won't do it for $37.5K. My friend just walked out.

Yes, and I paid that range back in 8/06 when these cars were on wait lists. At the time, that was a fantastic price. Today, it is high.

If he got that quote over the phone, dont believe it! Have them email it to him so he has it in writing! I was naive, they told me over the phone that they would beat any quote that Lexus of watertown would give me. I went in took a ES for a ride and when they started playing games with me about how Lexus of watertown would never give me the price I was quoting and when I told them to call them and verify, they said "oh we dont do that" so I decided to walk but they would not give me my car keys back which I had given them for the trade! I guess i am sour about the whole experience. I ended up getting it at Lexus of Watertown for $34,500(fully loaded w/o ML) and L of Norwood wouldnt budge from $35,500. So if he doesnt have it in writing, make SURE he DOES. Personally, there is no way they would sell a car MSRP'd at 44,xxx for 38,xxx. Thats 6k in discount for a car that has a great turnover rate. The lowest I could get L of Watertown for the ES350(in August '06) was $40,550.
