Horsepower boost

If you say turbonormalizer one more time I'm going to hit you with something.
It's a run of the mill turbocharger that has it's wastegate pinned to hold boost at seal level. It's a completely idiotic term, and really just a completely stupid idea. If you're going to run FI, then run FI. Don't stop at sea level atmosphere where the system won't even pay for it's own weight.

turbonormalizer, turbonormalizer, turbonormalizer!
I was using it as an aviation term, peeps on the ground don't care too much about an engine going kaput! Unless of course it's in the ghetto somewhere?
No boost in a Lycoming IO-540 that's been modded for a turbo, maintaining sea-level performance at 20,000ft is a great use of turbonormalization... Works a little differently than a car turbo, but basically the same principal, my point in bringing it up was even though nobody makes one (or two) for the ES, it can be done... Just as STD'd turbos are installed in non-turbo a/c.
