I recall seeing some posts in the past about Sirius not being available in the ES. Well I picked up a Aug build SGM UL yesterday with Sirius. Works great.

Three questions-
1. Was it installed by the dealer or at the port?
2. Where is the antenna?
3. How many characters of the song title and artist can you see?

Installed at port. Antenna is on passanger side windshield behind the rear view mirror. I will need to check on the characters but you hit text to see the info and I recall seeing full song name and artist I will check to ensure its 10+ characters. Pretty slick set up.

Was this car just sitting on the lot, or had you ordered it some time ago, with the sirius option?

Car was ordered about 4 weeks ago and arrived in LA from Japan last Tuesday

I ordered mine about four weeks ago, and the salesman told me that Sirius was NOT an option, but that if I waited a month or two, they'd be able to install it. I'm hoping your success means they're finally ready.

I had Sirius installed at the dealer in July. I bought the car May 1 and was told Sirius was not ready to be installed at that time. I was getting tired of waiting so I went back in July and they installed it. I also have the black box on the passenger side window by the rearview mirror. I've gotten used to it being there. It doesn't really bother me.

I had mine installed when I purchased the car in mid July. No problems other than the 10 character limit.

Regarding the Sirius radio: was it included in your deal or is it an automatic upgrade that you did not specify? Was it "Sirius ready" to add the "black box" or did you just have to contact Sirius to receive the signal at their monthly fee? Thanks...

I just called my dealership (Lexus Of Palm Beach) and they said that Sirius is still not available. They said they are no closer then they were 3 months ago.

My dealer installed Sirius at no charge. It was part of my purchase deal. I also am receiving the subscription service free for 9 months.

Take the pictures, and post them here. After my initial excitement, I am thinking that you may simply have a dealer installed kit, which has the 10 character limitation.
