So apparently he bought it last night. A few weeks ago he was looking all over for a new car and since I had the IS350, I told him Lexus was the way to go (his current car is Mercedes, E3xx I think). Anyway, I sent him to the Taste of Lexus link and said go check it out yourself before you make the mistake. He said he would go to the dealership first, then to the Taste.

Tonight he calls me from his bluetooth phone on his new nicely loaded ES350, he got black on black and while I'm not sure of all the packages, he say the sticker was somewhere around $44k. Of course he got it for less (probably near $40k) at Cerritos (he lives in Anaheim Hills CA).

He loves the car. And his wife (now driving the Benz) blames me for pointing him in this direction. After just one day, he tells me that his favorites are the air cooled leather seats, the bluetooth system, and the keyless entry). I'm just happy I was able to show him the way, if there was no IS350, I would be driving the ES350 myself...for sure.

My next car is the 08 IS500.

Well, if his ES350 has a panoramic roof, it would be the top of the line UL. Congrats.... also great job of directing him to an ES350... I know the 2IS has ardent followers and its good to know that those followers are also in support of the ES350.
