Clock and Mirrors continue to quit
'98 ES300 Clock, power mirrors and cig lighter stopped, so I replaced the ciggy 15A fuse last night and it worked. Then after starting for work this morning, they were dead again, so I'm guessing that fuse keeps getting blown.
I plugged nothing into the lighter didn't even start the car, except for seeing if the new fuse worked, and starting in the morning.
Any ideas to what may be causing an overload on that fuse? Thanks!

do you use something to charge your phone/play music through the cigarette lighter outlet? I had the same problem before I installed an aftermarket sound system and i'm pretty sure that charger thing is what caused the fuse to keep blowing in my car.

UPDATE: I keep change (coins) in the ashtray, and did you know that a PENNY fits just perfectly at the bottom of the cigarette lighter port?!? The actual lighter has been missing for many years, and apparently a penny made its way down in there and was shorting out the fuse! I looked down into that port to see if I could remove it, and voila! there's a penny. There's gotta be a lesson somewhere in here.......
