Default 2001 ES300, big brake kit issues.. would spacers fix?

I have a 2001 es300 coach edition, I just finished the big brake upgrade, 91-93 ls400 calipers, 95 es300 pads, 95 es300 brackets... people have said this upgrade should work no problem (hair size clearance), but it was hitting my wheel or something.. when I first lowered the car off jackstands, the car wouldn't move so I had to force it with the gas pedal unfortunately would spacers fix my issue? or do I need bigger wheels?

I've done this upgrade no clearance issues, do you have 16" or bigger wheels? You need 1991-1992 calipers I believe the 1993 ones are different.

factory 16's, but I believe they are 16x6.5, and you are right, 93 is different, but I checked and its 92 maybe something might be sitting crooked I'll check, but I also have a friend who will lend me a spacer so I'll keep this updated

I upgraded to 96 Camry V6 dual piston brakes and they clear my 15" steel winter wheels no problem. I reused the stock rotor on my Solara too.

The LS400 calipers are quite a bit larger.

Turns out one of the caliper bracket bolts were longer and I forgot to double check.. so ya.. killed a rotor, and killed a pad, but all is well! clears, but I might just end up adding a 5mm spacer for the extra clerance
