2004 es better cup holder alternative

So I am enjoying my new to me 04 ES and I notice the little holder is so low if doesnt adequately hold a cup of coffee. I can't imagine this design works for anyone. Is there a secondary design that works better ?

Such crappy design. There are so many complaints on it. It is only good for holding empty cup or an unopened can of soda. I searched before but could not find anyone that made good mods for this one.

Not sure but seriously. What the heck. Took me 15 minutes to realize it was unusable. Maybe I should be an engineer

Sounds like it is lol. 99 Es 300 here.

The only mods I have thought of would not allow the cup holder to retract back in to the center console so I've been hesitant about it.
