New ES 300 owner
I never thought I would ever buy what I believe to be a Japanese Buick. I used to mock the Lexus ES until I endured driving a lemon Subaru Legacy for almost 5 years. The problems were unremitting.
I found a 2003 Lexus ES 300 with 99000 miles sitting at a dealership and I thought to myself, nice car. Of course, it rode and drove as smooth as a velvet glove.
I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and helping whenever I can.
I also am one who is never satisfied with a bone stock car. One thing that I would like to modify on this car would be to add a thicker sway bar on the front and rear. The car has a little too much roll for my tastes. On the other hand, I can live with it for a while, so it is not a big deal.
I would like to find a thicker sway bar for this model to be able to corner better. It certainly isn't urgent, so I plan on enjoying this car for a while.
