hey guys! I have a 2001 ES 300 which I recently acquired and I was testing out the CD player with a friend (located in glove box). It was working fine for a while but all of a sudden the cd player and tape player stopped responding on the dash completely! the radio still works, but the 6 CD cartridge in the glove box refuses to eject although when I press the eject button it flashes for a short time and then stops. My friend checked the fuses and apparently they were fine. I would really like to use the CD player so any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I owned a Solara with a similar problem. Learned after searching the net that the control board can go bad can go bad easily. Sourced a replacement on Ebay.
