Power windows, Door locks, sunroof as well as door ajar light and headlight buzzer will not work...
A couple weeks ago my son set the alarm off on my 97 Lexus es300. I was unable to get it to disarm using my key. In an attempt to reset the alarn we removed the alarm module and then hooked it back up thinking that may reset it. However, it did not. I later found that the cord with the plastic end that attaches to the key hole on inside of door had came lose and wouldn't disarm the car. so I turned the little **** on the piece and it shut off. However every since then the windows, door locks, sunroof, door ajar light, and headlight buzzer does not work... I have tested all fuses, related to any of the problems listed above, with a fuse tester and all are good. I don't know where else to look. my dome lights power seats etc all still work.... My dad sais possibly the BODY CONTROL MODULE. However when I research a bad BCM all I see is problems with speedometer, back lighting in dash and gear shifter as well as dome lights I have none of these issues... This is driving me insane. I am trying to find the source of the problem and fix it... dealerships and garages want to much to just look at it
