Default For those with aftermarket headlights-- securing bulb

How did you properly secure the bulb in the housing? The stock bulbs have a plastic bushing that makes it fit very snug with the metal clip, but the aftermarket headlights on my kit did not have that. Really, its just the bulb but the metal clip didnt secure the bulb entirely and there is way too much movement. I am using a rubber dust guard that came with the kit, but it's not very secure.

Any ideas?

If you're talking about putting HID bulb kits into the OEM halogen housing (I don't see where you mentioned what year model your car is), you'll need a spacer to make the retaining clip secure the bulb. I bought some off ebay for about $5 for a pair, just search H7 HID bulb spacer adapter.

Perfect, thank you very much.

It's a 97 ES300, by the way. Knowing the item will help my search.
