I've been smelling gas in the car for about a month now. I've checked under my back seat & there is a line that runs from the tank. It has gas on the part of the line that's closer to the tank. Could this be a bad line? Or some type of seal.

Have you checked under the hood? When our ES started smelling like gas it was because the fuel pressure damper was leaking. Could have very easily started a fire.

A leaking fuel injector will leave a raw gas smell in the car. If you recently changed them or had them serviced, if someone pulled out the fuel rail and didnt replace all the gaskets on the fuel injectors, it can leave one of them leaking and a smell of gas every now and then.
