1995 es valve cover gasket issue
2 years ago i inherited my 95 es from my grandmother with only 110k miles and the valve cover gaskets were leaking. I finally had them replaced about 1 month ago at 135k miles and my garage floor was only dry for 2 days when i noticed an oil leak in the same spot. I'm positive it is the rear bank driver side corner that is leaking, so should I take it back to my mechanic and have him fix this again or is this just normal for the car?
I have all of the service records for the car and it has been maintained religiously. The valve cover gaskets have been replaced at least 3 times in its life. The first at 35k miles then 50k then 100k and I noticed the leak around 112k and replaced them at 135k.
Is it worth it to have it fixed again? or was this my mechanics fault?

It may just be a bit of residual oil that dripped when the valve covers were changed, and nw made its way to the floor.
Clean it as best you could, and wait a couple more days to see if it stops.

that's odd (how often they have been done).
I wonder if the cam covers aren't true (flat), or if some of the bolts are snapped off (easy mistake to make), or if the seals have been fitting without being oiled first, so they seal never expands, and leaks.
nevertheless I'm with PFB, it's probably residual,

I don't think it's just leftover oil because they degreased the engine and I can wipe a paper towel on the driver side corner of the back bank and there is fresh oil on it. I did not leak for the first week I had it and now I can see the oil spot under the car grows every day.

non-oem seals ? might pay to stump up for the real ones.
perhaps it's not the cam cover seal, it might be the seal somewhere near by. oil travels, sometimes upwards if the engine is dirty.
