Default Heated Seats

Looks like the heated driver seat on my '97 ES just stopped working.
Not like I use them all the time and I only have 50k miles.
Any others have this issue and had it (them) fixed?
Cost?
I know it's not cheap to get heated seats fixed.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

I said this in a previous thread.....if it is electrical and is stops working, check the fuse.
If it is the fuse, the passenger seat heater won't be working either.

Check the conncetion under the seat, maybe something hit the wires.

There have been several threads deplicting the lose of theat from seats in the recent past.

Powere seat is working fine.
Haven't checked the passenger seat for heat yet.
Can you let me know what fuse number is for the heated seats?
Didn't find it in the manual.
I did check the wires under the seat and everything seems connected fine.
I did do a search and did not come up with much.
Thanks for your help.

on my '02 ES the seat heater fuse is #54, its a 20 amp fuse.
#54 is found in the driver's side instrument panel (left of steering column, behind coin box/drawer).

Check the 97 manual. If you don't have one, you may want to invest in one (~$20). You may even find on ebay, the manual, the suppl. manual and the leather case for a decent price.
There are plenty of CL members that have them.

good luck,
