In short, you have a burnt out bulb, there is no indicator light on the dashboard for headlights, only for taillights. You will need to buy a pair of D2S HID bulbs, should only cost you around $50 for the pair. Installation can be tricky if you haven't done it before because the bulbs are delicate but there should be instructions on the forum somewhere.

Yes those bulbs are what our car uses. $100 each is a terrible price. Search on amazon and you can find a pair for $50 or less. I couldn't find any step by step instructions but this link may help: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...-hid-bulb.html
Basically you have to pull out the entire headlight assembly then pull out the old bulbs

WRONG!
D2s is for projectors.
ES300 requires D2R
You're on clublexus, go to http://www.kbcarstuff.com/
Once there, look for their D2R bulbs, choose a color [I used a 5000k color series on mine], was around 60$ to my door step.
I'll tell you from experience of having used multiple brands of HID bulbs, XenonDepot REALLY puts the effort into their manufacturing & such. The quality was amazing.

Your D2S is causing more unnecessary glare in those reflector housings...
The "r" has a casper shield made for reflector housing HID's, ie. Early Luxo-barges such as the Acura TL. The "s" does not since its made for projector housings so it disperses the light better in the projector housing, ie. german cars like early Audi/BMW

If you didn't already, check your fuses. All of them. If all ok, than its probably your ballast for that side.
