Lightbulb 98 ES taillight question

Hey guys,
first time Lexus owner, first time posting here, wish me luck. I have owned 6 BMW's in a row and recently purchased a 98 ES300. I LOVE IT! Very smooth... almost too smooth for me but my wife will be driving it most of the time, so smooth is good. Will be great road-trip car.
Question is this... alot of BMW owners (myself included) change out turn signal and taillights to a clear/European looking combination. Red tail and brake lights (obviously) but with clear turns. The 98 has amber turns in the rear but I've noticed newer (99-00?) have clear turns, is this a direct swap? Bolt patterns line up?
Where to buy? Any aftermarket websites? I'm not crazy about the IS look, more European cleaner looking.
future mods will include a very light tint, 16 or 17in rims, car is black, may have lower grey painted black, HID's, who knows what else!
Any and all help is very cool!

there have been many threads on this already. try searching from it.
the older threads showed that it may not have worked, b/c the bolt pattern on the back was not the same for both. you could try buying both and finding out, but i'm not sure if anyone has done it. i don't think so.

oh yeah, Welcome to CL!
