Mounting a USB/Aux Connector inside Console Armrest

I have an '06 Lexus ES330 and would like to mount this plug (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/3.5-USB.html) inside of the armrest storage box next to the 12 volt plug. The adapter wires will plug into the back of a Pioneer AVH-X3500. I have not found out how to disassemble the armrest to check for clearance. Can I drill the hole with the console in place, or do I need to remove?

Any ideas?
