Default Power Steering Fluid.... this is weird...

So isn't there supposed to be ATF Dextron II in the power steering system for the 1992 ES? Because I was just looking at the fluid in my car and it's nice and clean but it's yellow... I thought all ATF was red. And this fluid has been in there close to a decade, never leaked or anything I'm just wondering about the color, because I was thinking about changing it but maybe there is just regular power steering fluid in there right now? If it is wrong I almost don't want to change it at this point and cause a leak or something...

Mine is clean and it is yellow too. If there are no leaks or noises, relax and leave as it is.

The Dextron fluid they used at the factory didnt have a red dye in it so it is still Dextron unless someone switched it out just without the red dye.

Okay, that makes sense. Last thing I remember that was done to the steering was that I think the steering rack was re-built at the dealer in like 2002ish, but then again I was 10 years old so I don't know for sure. Car has gone just over 20k miles since then
