Knock sensor Pigtail
How can you tell which wire is for Bank 2 Knock sensor at the pigtail connector on the motor on a 2000 Lexus Es300. There seems to be identical colors silver and brass for each bank. Bank 2 is bad and throwing code P0330

I suppose that you can unplug either one of them, and if now you get a different code you'll know which one it is

Getting to the plugs at the sensors is a lot of work. You have to remove the lower intake manifold and the by pass hose. I had a spare knock sensor and a spare harness so I relocated my spare knock sensor to the end of the left head (front) at the transmission side using a bracket I made out of 2" aluminum angle. Then I used cut off paperclips to jumper the two sets of wires at the back of the single plug on the harness. Just remember silver to silver and gold to gold. Do not forget to re seal the plug. I hope this helps. This is a bit of a repair and not a direct fix but it works for me, and is a lot less work too.
