how to use electric accesory for es330?
just bought a used lexus es330, can anyone tell me how to charge GPS or any other electric accessory using cigarette lighter or power outlet of this car? It seems I can't use ordinary car chargers on this car.Thank you so much.

I wonder if the power socket is usual on the 330s, this is the second post I've seen for the same issue recently.

First thing that comes to mind is to check fuses, then get a multimeter to see if you are getting power at all. If not, then check the connector that goes to the cig lighter/power socket.

I bought a 05 ES330 this summer and and one of these. works fine in lighter outlet. It has two UBS ports for charging and Bluetooth for phone/music. Hope this helps...

Yes mine looks just like your photo. The couple different devices we use all have taped ends, maybe that helps. The charger you have looks like an older one I use to have. Does the end unscrew and have a fuse in it? Also my lighter socket only works with the key turned on, which I like because I never have to unplug things....

Glad to hear we solved the problem. My car is missing the the ash insert in the ash tray. The car was never smoked in, so who knows what happened to it. But I want to see if I can grab a cheap one somewhere and epoxy the top 2/3rds of something like this to hold my phone and can be popped in and out.
