Default how to use electric accesory for es330?

just bought a used lexus es330, can anyone tell me how to charge GPS or any other electric accessory using cigarette lighter or power outlet of this car? It seems I can't use ordinary car chargers on this car.Thank you so much.

First thing that comes to mind is to check fuses, then get a multimeter to see if you are getting power at all. If not, then check the connector that goes to the cig lighter/power socket.

I wonder if the power socket is usual on the 330s, this is the second post I've seen for the same issue recently.

Any car charger should work. I've used many different chargers.

This... check your fuse boxes. There are several spares you can try.

i have just bought a GPS, and the charger for the GPS(See the pic) does not fit the power outlet(see the pic). This GPS also has a USB charger.can anyone tell me what kind of car charger do I need to buy in order to use this GPS?THANKS A LOT.I noticed that the bottom of both outlets are flat, and doesn't seem to fit the ordinary car chargers which has a pin at one end.

thank you so much.Is the power outlet look the same as mine? The charger you recommended also has a pin at one end, and I noticed that the bottom of the power outlet is flat. Does it matter?THANK YOU

Yes mine looks just like your photo. The couple different devices we use all have taped ends, maybe that helps. The charger you have looks like an older one I use to have. Does the end unscrew and have a fuse in it? Also my lighter socket only works with the key turned on, which I like because I never have to unplug things....

Glad to hear we solved the problem. My car is missing the the ash insert in the ash tray. The car was never smoked in, so who knows what happened to it. But I want to see if I can grab a cheap one somewhere and epoxy the top 2/3rds of something like this to hold my phone and can be popped in and out.
