changing low beam bulbs 04 es
Has anyone know a easy way to change the low beam bulbs on a 04 es? Drivers side is the worst. Trying to get the bulb lined up, and get that stupid spring to hold the bulb in. Dumb. Or is this just a way to take it to a dealer and get ripped off to get it replaced.

Thought about that, the fuse box was more in the way, hardest thing was getting the bulb to line up. I could move my hand o.k., to a point and got cramped. Still sore from it and my hands are not that big. Almost like going in blind to do this. sucks. Thanks for the tip, take care.

You could try using gloves to protect your hand from scaring against the fender liner/ rad cradle. I had to do that when swapping my parking lights to LED's. It was really tight in there.
Use a mirror to lineup the bulb, or practice on the passenger side where there's more room. See if taking the cover off the fuse box lends you a tiny bit of clearance.
Alternatively you could take the whole headlight assembly off...
Just peel the bumper around the corner, and remove ~3 bolts.

Yes i changed them without removing anything, just took way to long, had to walk away, took a deep breath and tried again and changed the bulb. Total pain in the ***. My thought was I'll try it, if i can't do it, then take somewhere and have it done. My local shop charged me $ 30-$35 to change one a few years ago. Stupid design. I just did it by feel and got lucky. Good luck, hope this helps.
