Year 2: Tanabe DF210 + KYB GR2 1998 ES300
I just wanted to share with you guys an update and maybe get some input.
After about 6 months, it felt like my shocks were getting softer. Now, it seems like the spring is getting weaker. The car doesn't bounce around like a a blown shock, but I bottom-out on every speed bump and dips in the road. The car sits about 0.25" lower than 18 months ago.
If I can raise it up another 1" all-around, I think I'd be fine with it.
You guys think GR2 was too mild for DF210s? Perhaps a mistake in the install?
Anyone recommend urethane isolators (maybe 2 x 0.5" per strut) so that I can increase the travel again and keep the slightly-better-than stock ride height and stiffness?
