ES330 2004 Front Passenger Door won't open from inside
Having trouble with my 04 ES330. The right front passenger door will not open from the inside.
It still opens fine from the outside and the window goes up and down ok. It also locks fine using the key and with the switch on the door. It likely happened by someone pulling to open the door while I was unlocking it.
The handle on the inside that you pull to open is not flush with the door like all the others, it is out about 10 degrees. Normally with you pull the handle to open the door, the door opens and the handle goes back to flush with the door. On this door you can pull it out like the rest but it does nothing and only goes back to about 10 percent from being flush.
Is there any quick fix for this? My car has about 184K miles on it and don't want to spend a bunch to fix it. And it's only an issue when the wife's in the passenger seat. At first she really loved that whole me having to come around and open the door to let her out but recently even she said it was a real pain to wait for me to do so ;o)
If there's no "quick fix" should this be a fairly easy fix for a body shop?
Thanks for any and all advice!
