Need Alarm Reset 2000 ES 300
I have been having some woeful problems...
2000 ES 300
My key(fob) battery died and it would set off the alarm when I opened the door manually, I replaced it and it worked for a brief time, then the fob part of the key stopped working and it would set the alarm off when I would unlock manually (unlock and lock on the key wouldn't work but I could open the trunk). I read somewhere you can reset the alarm by lock/unlock/lock using the key in the door... Well I had made an appointment with the local dealership and continued trying to reset it that way. One day it worked and all was well, so I canceled my appointment. Now it's happening again, the keyfob won't work and unlocking manually sets off the alarm. Any advice on how to reset the alarm or if that is even my problem?
