New Michelin Tires on 04 ES330
I recently purchased and installed Michelin Pilot Exalto tires from Costco for my ES 330. My Lexus dealer advised that they did 2 alignments to ensure correct alignment as their test drives resulted in the car pulling slightly to the left. I haven't contacted Costco as I had planned a road trip that couldn't be canceled. I just got back from the road trip and found that on long turns to the right on curvy roads, the left front tire emits a high pitch whining noise when driving at almost any speed (depending on type of road surface). I also detect a bit of stress on the steering wheel. This does not occur when turning to the left. Has anyone had any similar problems or any ideas before I return to Costco?

Noisy Micheln Primacy MXV4 Tire ES330
I recently purchased and installed Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires from Costco for my (never wrecked or damaged 52,000 mi.) 04 ES 330. My Lexus dealer advised that they did 2 alignments after installation to ensure correct alignment as their test drives resulted in the car pulling slightly to the left. I haven't returned to Costco as I had planned a road trip that couldn't be canceled. I just got back from the road trip and found that on long turns to the right on winding roads, the left front tire emits a high pitch whining noise when driving at almost any speed (depending on smoothness of road surface). I also detect a slight bit of tire stress on the steering wheel. This does not occur when turning to the left. Has anyone had any similar problems or any ideas before I return to Costco?
Very satisfied with these tires over the old Dunlop set previously installed.

Have the Primacy MXV4 tires on my ES300 presently. They're WONDERFUL and part of the reason I've not rushed back to my 18s and coilovers after getting the car back from my parents (I let them borrow it, so I put OEM rims, OEM suspension and OEM-size tires to soften it up for them). They handle SO well and they're SO quiet. I've had NO balancing problems.
Wait a minute...which set of tires did you buy and install?!? You've posted twice, each time with a different model of tire.

Michelin tires for Es 330 2004
Sorry- got confused with the system. The tires are the Primacy and NOT the Pilot Exalto. I asked for the Pilots and Costco sold me on the Primacy warranty.
Thanks for catching this!

How many different types of Michelin tires are available for ES? The previous owner bought some right before selling it to me. I've heard these are some of the best. Sorry, didnt mean to take over your thread
