Default New Owner, out with the old in with the new

Hey everybody, I'm pumped to announce that I'm a proud new owner of an '01 ES300. I found this diamond out in the country about 45 miles from where I live, and got an AMAZING deal on her. Only 75k on this 01!!

I thought I'd post pics of my ole girl I had to let go: '98 Cherokee 4x4 - 3.5" suspension lift with 31" BFG All-Terrains. It was sad letting her go, but I can't begin to tell you how stoked I am about the ES. I did a whole lot of research before going the 92-01 ES route (my folks used to have one, and I loved it then, so it carried with me), and decided against the 02-06. Let me know what yall think!

I'm hoping to give her a wash after work, if weather permits--she has lots of bugs on her from the ride home. I'll post some when it's all clean.

Oh my. That is indeed nice, 100% the same as mine [less a few changes] So i am biased here...

Color/interior/wood grain wheel! lol Oh and i have the same rims too! haha [i use them as winters']

and a little 'less' mint, with 107k on the clock!

Anyways, if you want see her here!

Mike, yours looks outstanding! The second picture in the second set (2), looks like it could have been in a magazine. Cleannnn.

Thanks for the kudos yall, I hope to do some HID's if I don't have them, and maybe LED's inside the cabin!

congrats on the purchase! nice ES and nice upgrade!
i actually wanted a 97-01 ES but i found a great deal on my 03, asnd ive grown to like the bodystyle...i still am very very partial to the 97-01's.

im sure youll appreciate the better gas milage and much more comfortable ride...i cant stand the way the older jeeps ride

I just got a '98 around 3-4 days ago, it was only used as a church car (transportation to church and back) and it only has 28,000 miles on it O.o

Ohhh man, I'm diggin' that black interior! That is sweeet! I didn't know they made a woodgrain steering wheel and stereo...Looks good. My stereo on my '97 is just all black. I've had my '97 for only a month, but I get excited every morning now to get up and drive to work! You're gonna fall in love with the ride quality...

The wheel was an option apparently and the wood stereo was factory for the 00-01 years. Anything older = plastic.

My car is 100% the same as this one, colors/option, a little less stock though.

Oh bummer...Kinda makes me wanna install a '00-'01 stereo--Looks classy. My black plastic one looks boring and Camry-ish.
