The first hit and run occurred in a store parking lot, I think a truck or SUV backed into it and maybe the bottom of the bumper or trailer hitch caught the top of my hood = 4" scratch and 1/2" dent with scratch towards the passenger side


The second hit and run occurred in my apartment complex parking lot while my car was parked under cover.


No notes left for either of them....tis the season I suppose.

I agree! It's hard to have a car you take a lot of pride in and take good care of when J/Os do this kind of *****. And it's not like I'm going to file a claim for either of them, so I just have to try and buff it out and use touch up paint.

Sorry to see this. People are bast#$!s when it comes to things like this. My 2002 Corolla is loaded with dings from my old apartment complex. Now, at my condo complex, my drunk next door neighbor has dinged it good a few times. The Lex is parked in an end spot that is quite wide. I am VERY cautious where that is parked.

I appreciate the sentiment everyone! I carefully wet sanded the rear bumper and buffed it up. It looks quite a bit better now, but the paint is still all spider webbed from the impact and there's a couple areas that had the paint entirely scratched off. The hood is not buffable as most of it is down to the metal and the parts that aren't the paint is all buckled.

That's the thing, my stall neighbor is a sport bike so i park a little closer to him on the one side so I can't get any door dings, but obviously that doesn't protect the rear bumper at all. At stores I always park towards the end of the lot, but with Xmas shopping the lots were packed
