Question Quick wheel fitment question

Looking to put on a set of wheels on my 2000 ES300. The wheels are 18x8 with a 42 offset. The tires are 225/40/18. Will these fit? They are Volante luxury wheels if anyone cares to check them out.

Anyone? I really like these wheels but won't buy if they can't fit. Thanks again!

42 offset might rub. id keep it 40 or below just to be safe. the stock sc430 wheels are 18 x 8 +45 and i know they rub so +42 may rub.

If you do get them and they're rubbing a little you may be able to correct that with some spacers.

a little off topic question; whats the widest tire you can fit on a 2nd gen ES? i have some wheels that reccomend a 225/50/16 but i dont want then to rub if they even will. also should i get a 50 profile or something taller?

I have 45mm offset in the rear and after longer studs, fender deleting and 12mm spacers I was able to get rubbing to a minimal. Since you have a 42mm offset you might be able to get away with a 5mm spacer.

in order to get 18x8 to work correctly in the rear...

I'm running a 15mm spacer, this is with SC430 wheels
You will need to trim/roll the rear fender
I also fashioned custom bump stop to make sure not to hit the inner fender lining on hard bumps.
