Lense covers ecthed from sandstorm...
I hit a wicked sandstorm in Palm Springs and the lexan headlight covers are now etched. Any ideas how they can be buffed clear again? the replacement ones from the dealers are like 600.00 a piece. Any input would be appreciated, thanks Ron

First try Maguires PlastX which is a pretty decent rubbing compound. If that doesn't work then you might have to wetsand it down with 2000 grit sandpaper then polish the heck out of it. Any pictures of how bad it is?
