Is there any slack that you could cut off the wires?

well for our car we just use the harness kit that has the av jacks and plug straight to the cd player instead of the wires but cutting those wires would make it easier but the thing is the MAIN cord int he back i cant move that around for it it to fit all the way back if there was a way i can hold it up while i slide it in i could but i cant do that

know the wiring you are talking about it really is in a sucky place it took two of us to push it off to the left hand side and about 6 zip ties and a bunch of big swear words. we also moved the head unit to the top slot on the stacking frame just gives it a little extra room also stopped problem with RCA leads working loose
