Default -Roof Rack for a 1997 Es300?

does anyone make one for my car? or a universal kit?

I believe it's not possible because we don't have tracks in our roof, so there is nothing to attach it to.

i've seen pictures so i know it's possible but just don't know if they make them still.

yakima has a kit for 355 i believe

I found an article with pictures, but it looked like it was custom built by a roof rack shop. I tried looking at one of the components for the construction, but the part was discontinued.

Update: Looks like there are solutions for cars without rain gutters aka naked roofs. I'm interested in getting something like this to carry my bike.

That's what I thought too but did a search here and saw a couple es300s with a rack bug the threads were old do I didn't respond to the thread...yes that's what I'm looking at, something for my bikes/snowboards.

Basic kit, just got the required clips, I think q46 but can't remember, it's not fastened down but gives you an idea

I paid like 650-700 and have had it for a while now, just changing the clips it's been on a toyota celica, that es300, my gs300, and once on an es330. Look on craigslist and you'll find one much cheaper most likely and just buy the clips specific to your car which can be found online

So I buy a universal Figment then find clips for the es300? Can you shed some light? Never bought a roof rack cause I thought they were dumb but now older and wiser they make a lot of sense and look cool as well, lol
