Changing Remote Keyless Entry (01 ES300)

You should be able to have it changed by the dealer. I'm not all that familiar with the ES of this year, but most in 2001 had what is called 'C-Best' which the dealer can set for you. My GS opens the passenger doors with two pushes, but my LS opens all four with a single push.

My RX is programmed to open with one push. So when I drive the ES I sometimes forget to push it twice That usually puts me in the dog house with my girlfriend when her fingertips slip off the handle and dam neer take off her nails.
I did ask the dealer already since they reprogramed the RX for me and they said the ES could not be done. Just figured someone out there would know a way.

Specter...You have a real good point there. That way I wouldnt have those claw marks from her nails under the door handle of my RX400 Gee why didnt I think of that LOL, I guess after two and a half years of going together I kinda forgot.
