New personal best 1/8 times!
The date is wrong on these slips, ran tonight. Also scanned them in the wrong order so.....right to left.
Run 1: Spun like mad.
Run 2: Was pissed off that I spun like mad so I dropped the tire pressure (Nitto DR's) and then did a John Force burnout.
Run 3: Let the car cool for about 20 minutes and went again!
Should have stayed and run a few more times but I did what I wanted to do, broke 8 seconds.
My car has many mods but most recently: Went from a 3 to a 3.5 inch suction side pipe, went to a set of Denso IK27 iridium plugs, and lost about 150lbs in vehicle weight.
Plan on running the 1/4 next weekend. The 7.874 run should be a 12.1xx run!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.
Maybe the fastest here in the states but I'm not going to claim that cause I don't really know for sure. I know of 1 or 2 across the pond that have me beat...
I think some tires that will hold the car would get me high 11's to flat 12's. I still can't launch much over 2000rpm (2800 stall) without blowing the tires off. Watching the logs, I have no boost untill I go WOT so I'm not launching even close to full power. I think MUCH better 60fts are possible.
BTW, let me know how the 1/8 mile meet goes. I'm very curious to know how you do!
Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

I'm hoping to run the 1/4 Wednesday night, stay tuned.

I can launch, but I know the time won't be that great because I don't have enough time to practice. But we'll see.

I had a pair of Hoosier Quicktime Pro's. They are a "street legal" tire but about as close as you can get to full slicks without being full slicks. Never had much luck with them. Didn't spin much, my car just didn't seem to like them...?

But........if you are wanting to see the time board with my time on it, it won't happen at this track. They never show times, they are very big into grudge racing.
