injen intake for the CT: after all these years, thoughts?
hi, so i been searching through this forum to see if there are any mods in terms of performance (next to nil)
but saw a bunch of posts back a few years ago with people adding injen short ram intakes to their CTs, but no recent posts.
i figured that after all these years there should be some clear verdict by now. i was wondering what kind of difference it makes by adding on the ingen intake and is it worth it?
any idea if it's easy to install on your own assuming that you are a total n00b and just follow what it says in the instructions?
i have a mild to lukewarm interest in installing this if it's not too much work and wont permanently damage anything and can easily swap back to stock parts if i need to do any warranty work

I was in the same boat as you guys, but decided to go for it when it went on sale for Black Friday. I've only had it for about 3 months, so it would be nice to know how these last over time and also how often the filters need to be changed.
I installed this myself and have never done any engine work prior or since. The pictures in the instructions are pretty crappy, but I just followed as best I could and used common sense and haven't had any issues. I can neither confirm or deny performance improvements. However, the sound difference alone was worth it for me.
