My CT200h road trips
As it turns out, my new 2013 CT is the most comfortable car I've ever owned. While not the roomiest, the driver's seat just hugs me perfectly and gives me the back support needed to log some serious miles on the road.
A couple weeks ago I drove about 700 miles to Fort Worth in about 12.5 hours. Drove the same trip back 4 days later.
Last weekend I drove the CT to Toledo and back in one day for a total of 960 miles in about 16.5 hours. I used 24.5 gallons of gas on that trip.
Every other vehicle I've owned, including my wife's 2010 RX 350, has resulted in lower back pain and a lot of fidgeting around in the seat after 4 or 5 hours straight. Not so in the CT. I never thought a compact car would be my road trip vehicle of choice.
BTW, I drove to Toledo to pick up wheels/tires for my SC430. Even the SC isn't as comfy as the CT.

As another CT200h and SC430 owner I agree with you.
Our CT has leather package because I needed memory seats. After my wife drives the CT it's impossible for me to get into the CT because she pulls seat almost all the way up and I'm 6' 230 lbs. With the memory seat option after I touch the door handle to enter the car the seats and mirrors adjust for me.
I also have back issues and the Prius we had caused me back pain after 45 minutes of driving. We looked at new Prius and the seats were still uncomfortable no matter what seat options we tried.
I ordered a loaded Prius anyway but before it arrived I stopped by the Lexus dealer and sat in the CT and the leather seat option fit me like a glove.
We do a 4 hour drive across Florida several times a month. My back never bothers me in the CT.

"Even the SC isn't as comfy as the CT." That's pretty high praise, as I find my SC430 more comfortable on long trips than my RX350, even though the interior is quite a bit smaller (but the V8 power is a smooth and quite joy, not to mention loads of fun). If the CT is more comfortable, I may look into it. (Right now I am seriously considering the RC350 - we shall see.)

CT vs. RC - Talk about comparing apples vs. oranges. Are you thinking of replacing the SC?

Another road trip.
Took another road trip in the CT recently to Wisconsin to visit a friend. It was nice to drive 400 miles one way and fill up for less than $30 in gas (8.5 gal).
Gonna take a vacation to the Alabama Gulf Shores in September and was considering taking the SC430 for some top down fun. I've decided to take the CT because it will use half the gas and is more comfortable.

I hated the seats in my wife's Prius.

Maybe Lexus should consider putting the CT seats in other Lexus models such as the RX, ES and SC...

Oh my, how time flies by!
Been a while since my last post in this thread. The CT is still my road trip weapon of choice. Here's a photo from our Savannah, GA trip last year.

Owning both a CT and an LS, there's no way in hell that we'd pick the CT over the LS for ANY road trip....long or short. While the CT is fine and not UN comfortable, the LS is leaps and bounds ahead of the CT for comfort, luxury, and sheer quiet of the drive.....not to mention the Mark Levinson system to accompany us. The fuel economy however......lol.

This being my 9th car, it's probably in quite honesty the best purchase I've ever made, and the majority of my prior vehicles (including my current s2000) are basically track/race cars.
This is the perfect daily and while I haven't taken it on many long trips, the most being about 1.5 hours away.. this thing is so beyond comfortable in comparison to anything I've personally owned - I never seem to want to climb out of it.
I'm about 5 ft 6, 150 pounds, athletic build, so it fits me snug and in my opinion, not too much nor too little. My brother is about 5 ft 8, but about 270 pounds and he finds it difficult to get in and out of (he split his pants getting in my s2000 - true story). Also the lower roofline of the CT is an issue for him as well, that's why I always have him drive :P.
My girlfriend is all of 4 ft 9 and she falls asleep as she finds the car extremely comfortable especially when I'm the one driving.

Thanks for sharing the photos, loved them.
