Good questions. To be honest, I'm honestly not sure yet. We are working with a few customers at the moment to get some feedback with respect to using this bulb in their headlights, and should have some more information in the next few days.

Check out this great comparison between a standard H11 Halogen bulb, H11 Philips LED bulb and a generic brand bulb. As you can see, not only is the Philips LED bulb brighter but it has the same pattern as a halogen bulb meaning no glare is created unlike the generic brand bulb.
