No Brian - it's never safe to assume anything. On the product page of our site we offer a key picture detailing the latest headlamp style.
And should it help, its not a 2011MY versus 2012MY light but rather a typical and normal update. The lights simply updated to a newer light design just as many other parts do (and frequently at that). There will numerous 2012MY models with the older headlights. Only the latest production vehicles will have the updated lights.

Thanks for clearing things up.Can you confirm whether or not the updated version has a different color/brightness for the LED DRL strip? We have until the end of March to order?
