Can you share any info on the approximate schedule for the day? A group of us will be staying on the beach in Delaware & we'll take the ferry from Lewes to Cape May. We plan to take the very first ferry in the morning (7am), but we'd like to get an idea of when the day will wrap up so we can book our return trip in the evening. Thanks.

OK, thanks. Based on that start time, we've decided to change our plans and stay somewhere along the NJ shore. Now, the rest of the schedule isn't a huge concern since we don't need to catch a ferry at the end of the day
Registration will be closed on Tuesday for the people who need to drive with an instructor. Please register ASAP, if you are interested driving with an instructor.
Anyone that is interested just coming to the meeting and eating lunch, please also register as well ASAP -- we need to make sure to order enough food.
Hooked on Driving asked to come as early as 6:30 to 7:30 for on-site registration and helmet rentals. Driver meeting will be at 08:00 as we informed in the past.

As we head into the final week before the September 12th Mega Meet, we have put a list together of basic things you need to do to your car to be ready for the track:
(1) You MUST bleed the brakes. Brake fluid rapidly picks up moisture which reduces its boiling point. Even if you last bled the brakes 3 or 6 months ago.... do another bleed. Fresh fluid should look almost clear (at the master cylinder reservoir).
(2) Make sure you have enough pad life left for the track, particularly in the front.
(3) Set the tire pressures somewhat lower than the recommended tire pressures. So if you normally run 36, set them to 33 or so. Your tires will run much hotter on the track they ever get on the street, so you want to start out with lower pressures.
(4) When you go to tech inspection, you must remove all unattached items in your car, including in your trunk. That includes radar detectors, EZ pass, floor mats, phone mounts, etc.
I think that's about it, looking forward to seeing a good turnout, whether you guys come for the track or the meet.

Love the aero kit. I bet it makes the car stupid faster around big turns. I have friends who race M3s in SCCA IP and they've all said the difference is staggering.
