Default New to LA Lexus Scene, where are the meets at?!

Hey All,

My name is Shawn. So I am thinking of making the move to the Lexus scene and trying to get an idea of what is out there in the SFV. I am currently big into Euro but to clear things up, I am a car enthusiast...not partial to any one make or "scene".

Anyways so I just transferred to Keyes Lexus as a service advisor and they offer a employee discount that I am considering taking advantage of and looking to see what kind of community is out here in the valley. I used to own an 06' IS350 but have since sold that for my current BMW M3. Right now I am leaning toward an IS or if I can sell the M3, maybe an RC.

I have been searching the forum for meets, dates and times and have found some spotty info but it seems like there is somewhat of a gathering so I am pretty excited about that.

A bit of background:
Military OIF/OEF
Asocciates in Motorsports Tech/Auto Repair
Currently studying Mechanical Engineering

I am a proper gear head and love all cars, especially 70's-80's cars when there were no drivers aids. I have proper training in Motorsports and auto repair...even worked for a Grand Am team for some time. I am all about meeting like minded people who are just into cars. Hope to come across some of you ladies and gents soon.

PS - as I mentioned I work at Keyes Lexus as a service adviser so if any of you are in the area stop on by, ask for Shawn when you call for an appointment. I am one of two advisors who have actually wrenched for a living and know cars. I am not pushy and don't sell bull**** you don't need.

Keep it classy guys and gals!

Welcome Shawn to the Club Lexus Family

We are actually thinking of staring a car meet of our own.
We will be providing food, drinks, financing applications, models and also super deals
on selected wheels...

Our question to all of our Southern Club Lexus Members what would be the ideal location
to be able to provide the meet.

We would like to introduce our self and what we got to offer to each and one of you.

.
Thank you,

Jake

Sarkis...not familiar with him. He must have been way before my time haha.

If I can sell the M3 I was looking at the RC350 F-Sport...the RCF and ISF are out of my price point, still have to pay for school too.

Nice to meet you bro.

Jake that sounds awesome. So I can expect to see a post somewhere here on the regional forums since you guys are local? You guys deal in Euro cars too right? In case I keep the M3.

It would be awesome if you held a meet. Somewhere in between LA, and San Diego. The closer to the beach the better if it's going to be held during the summer.

Plus one on that... Something different other than plaza parking lot. Beach setting would be dope asf. Maybe a pre-meet then convoy off to the beach spot. We all need that "good feeling" rolling deep, that way solo drivers shouldn't feel left out. Haha.
